On June 25, Jinhong Gas Co., Ltd. (“Jinhong Gas”) officially signed an investment cooperation agreement with Alar Jingteng Energy Co., Ltd. (“Jingteng Energy”) to establish a joint venture in Alar City, Xinjiang.
The newly formed joint venture will focus on the construction of an advanced helium extraction and purification facility, covering both gaseous and liquid helium production. Utilizing efficient extraction, separation, purification, liquefaction, and storage processes, the plant will recover high-purity helium from boil-off gas (BOG) and deliver it to the market.
This collaboration brings together the strengths of both companies—Jinhong Gas’s expertise in gas sales, R&D, and EPC project execution, combined with Jingteng Energy’s local resource access and operational capabilities. Together, they aim to create a complementary and synergistic partnership.
By focusing on core technological advancements and improving the efficiency of resource utilization, the joint venture is set to develop high-quality productive capacity tailored to local conditions. The project also contributes to building a robust helium industry ecosystem, supporting the development of China’s strategic emerging industries with a reliable supply of helium products.
