Medical

Medical gases are gases used in medical procedures. Mainly used for therapy, anesthesia, driving medical equipment and tools. Commonly used gases are: oxygen, nitrogen, nitrous oxide, argon, helium, carbon dioxide and compressed air.

Corresponding Gas

Oxygen

Oxygen is a key substance for human metabolism. In medical treatment, oxygen is mainly used to inhale oxygen for hypoxic patients. Especially when encountering patients in need of rescue, it has the function of saving lives.

Nitrogen

Nitrogen has many medical applications and is generally used for cryopreservation of tissue samples such as blood and cells. It is also used as a gas power source for medical equipment.

Carbon Dioxide

Carbon dioxide is used medically to treat abdominal and colon inflation for laparoscopy and fibrocolon examinations. In addition, it can also be used to cultivate bacteria in the laboratory. High-pressure carbon dioxide can also be used in cryotherapy to treat cataracts, vascular diseases, etc.

Nitrous Oxide

As an inhalation anesthetic, nitrous oxide is commonly used in minor operations such as tooth extraction and trauma suture. After mixing with oxygen, it can be widely used in obstetrics, nursing, physiotherapy, accident rescue center and other occasions.

Compressed Air

Medical compressed air system, central oxygen supply and central negative pressure suction system are also known as the three major gas systems of the hospital, and play an important auxiliary role in the treatment and rehabilitation of patients. It can also be directly used for the treatment of human life respiratory system.
